Correct me if I'm wrong, but I assume the majority of Tesla drivers are left leaning.
I think that was clearly the case at first. I knew several people that had them, they were more left leaning, and they have all sold them. It's like the BetaMax machine. A proof of concept that an electric vehicle can be used every day. Soon to be replaced by something better engineered and more accessible. And the desire for an electric vehicle would align with left leaning values. But left leaning people are not going to give money to Elmo now, especially when there are better quality options out there.

I could easily believe that the remaining owners are split between people who are too underwater on theirs to get rid of it and people who see it as some type of lib owning protest. Elon realizes that second group are his only chance at growth which is why he commanded reek to do the infomercial.

Not the cybertruck. They are all morons.

I don't know if you ever watch David Pakman (he's a progressive left-leaning Youtuber), but he owned a couple of Teslas as well as some Tesla stock and recently got rid of both the vehicle and the stock due to Elon being a jackass. He now drives a Rivian and says it blows the Tesla out of the water.

I see Rivians every day here, the SUV is pretty sharp. And it starts at 15k less than Tesla's SUV.

Also starting to see a few of the VW Bus EV running around. They look so cool, but are priced stupid.

I can't wait until the Scout EVs start showing up.

The guy who won volunteer of the year for our hockey association has 3 Teslas. He was an early adopter. He and his wife have had theirs for years ... and he got another for his daughter who turned 16 2 years ago. He's an outstanding human. His reasons for getting the Teslas were environmental and to save money and stop paying for gas.

I think a lot of Tesla owners at this point are equivalent to a lot of Trump voters ... they grin and bear it in order pay less (no gas with Teslas/taxes with Trump).

Trump official tasked with defending DOGE cuts posted fashion influencer videos from her office

As the Office of Personnel Management oversaw the layoffs of thousands of federal workers and pressed others to justify their positions, the agency’s chief spokesperson repeatedly used her office for a side hustle: aspiring Instagram fashion influencer. In at least a dozen videos filmed in her OPM office, political appointee McLaurine Pinover modeled her outfit choices for the day, while directing followers from her Instagram account to a website that could earn her commissions on clothing sales.

how his cult does not see how ludicrous this has been is beyond me. it is all mocking now. none of them are able to do the job they were gifted all because they were so loyal to that idiot. holy crap on a cracker. Everyone of them is there for the grift

I don't get it. Is the maker of the billboard serious? And what point is Hamill making?

I had an 2 extra pre-work breakfast beers this morning so can anyone explain this to me?

Plus there is an obvious grammar/syntax/typing error in that billboard. LOL
I would assume that the point of both is how the outrageousness was calculated deception and meant to distract.

But given that both the billboard and Hamill's comment have the same grammar mistake (on top of a second one on the billboard), perhaps I am giving too much credit.

I don't care much about the grammar (obviously from most of my posts) but the point is spot on. They cried and screamed about it all and once elected not a damn peep. it is all a broken record but it still kills me that he was blatantly lying for all to see and they still wanted him president.

I was letting the comma slide. LOL. The "our or" was more the issue for me.

So not serious I guess?

Did you put the protein shake mix in with the beers? If not, try that. Stir though! Do not shake or use a blender. I dropped a barbell on my foot, but up until that point it was a great workout.

But the thing is they'll point to this as a libtard owning themselves.

MAGA: Ya see,,, since Trump has taken over the problem with all da immigrants and woke people have been solved. It was just that easy.

Never mind that neither problem was actually a real thing. They don't care.

Using a comma in the wrong place can change the meaning of a sentence, make it grammatically incorrect, or disrupt the flow of your writing. Here are some examples of what can happen:

  1. Change in meaning:
    • Correct: "Let's eat, Grandma!" (You're addressing Grandma.)
    • Incorrect: "Let's eat Grandma!" (Uh-oh, Grandma's on the menu.)
  2. Sentence fragments:
    • Incorrect: "I went to the store, bought some apples."
    • This creates a fragment because the second part lacks a subject.
    • Correct: "I went to the store and bought some apples."
  3. Confusion in lists:
    • Incorrect: "I like cooking, my family, and my dog." (This implies you like cooking your family!)
    • Adding a serial (Oxford) comma clears it up: "I like cooking, my family, and my dog."
A misplaced comma might not always seem like a big deal, but it can have a surprising impact on how your writing is understood. Do you have a sentence you’re working on that we can dissect?

look at it this way.. MAYBE they are doing bad grammar and spelling so the Maga can actually understand :)
