As much as we sometimes like to think we're quite different from the Excited States of America and acknowledging that Kim Campbell was briefly PM of Canada, I just don't think the Liberals will select either Freeland or Gould even though many people are saying Gould performed best at the debate. If women come out in droves and vote, polling indicates that women detest PP and that could be the saving grace because I think it's going to be Carney come hell or high water.
Gould is young. Or at least I like to think so since she’s the same age as me.

also has Jagmeet disappeared off the face of the earth? I have not seen anything from him in ages.
polls/338 arent absolute predictors but when they show someone getting completely trounced Id say they might be valid here lol

They gave some binder with some kind of Epstein info to a bunch of right wing influtards instead of just releasing them.

I bet it’s gonna tell them he had a private island and a plane.

i agree with you. and I am voting for him if he's the leader. I will pay extra fucking taxes if I need to to keep PP out of the office and everyone better get on board or we will be a 51st state with PP. PP will destroy what little we have left in Canada and if the orange fucking cheetos endorsement of him is not enough to sway you as a Canadian then you're no fucking Canadian to me
i think we are in a similar situation as the states were on this election cycle.
it honestly doesn't matter who is liberal leader. just shut down the conservatives above all.

i would vote for a lake-rescued algae-covered yellow top-flite golf ball over peter (don't call me jeff) pollievier.

is Carney the perfect candidate? of course not.
but going into a time where our economy is being threatened, I'm pretty good with having one of the world's top economists taking the reins.
once again, voting defensively.... whoever has the best shot at keeping the timbit trump out.

Do you have a semi-literate green party candidate who people can vote for to "Save Gaza" and satisfy their need to rationalize never voting for a black woman while being smug "individualists"?

Thanks Joe Rogan (disclaimer - I don't know if Rogan ever claimed that Ivermectin cured measles, but he spreads so much misinformation that he might have).

Kinda. She’s a drunk though and people in Dash’s neck of the woods love her.

/I think the entire NDP are basically a Hamas wing at this point too.

All of the above is true (although I think the NDP being a Hamas wing is a tad harsh lol).

Jagmeet’s more of a Khalistan guy I suppose.

The Liberals also have a bunch of Indians who hate and threaten each other for old world beefs.

We are kinda kooky aren’t we.

A lot of replies to the above tweet are assuming Brian was saying they just fired a bunch of air traffic controllers. Brian didn't say they were air traffic controllers, just FAA employees. They could be maintenance crew, safety people, who knows?

Based on what I've read, I think the majority of the ones let go were in more of the maintenance or standards areas. Inspectors and the like. So pilots are not immediately alarmed or concerned like they would be if ATCs were being let go. But it will become a problem. Airlines have strict rules set out by the FAA and audited by them on maintenance schedules, standards or operation and the like. There are strict checks that need to be undertaken before a plane can even get started up, let alone fly. And adherence to those standards is audited by the FAA. *Those* are the people let go. So as long as pilots and ground crews continue to follow the rules, air travel will remain as safe as it's been. The issue is there will be a far lower chance corner cutting will get caught and it could lead to big problems long term.

Also, the people training those ATCs are part of it. Hard to have "top notch" staffs if there is no one there to teach and test them on being high quality.
