in all seriousness this is truly terrifying with the people he is putting in place of important roles.
I recently hired a person and had probably the deepest talent pool of interviewees I'd ever seen and I've done many, many hires over the years. The amount of talent, knowledge, expertise, and innovation leaving the federal government at the moment is staggering. You don't waltz into these jobs - they require degrees, achievements, a proven track record, stable personalities, and often extensive background checks. The interview/hiring process for federal jobs is long and cautious. That's not to say there aren't some mediocre employees in the Fed (or any large organization) , but these are largely high flyers and impressive leaders. They face high levels of accountability and transparency in their work. They by and large hold taxpayer dollars in high regard.
So to see lifelong patriots and experts cast out of their jobs with some spreadsheet jockeying while allowing deeply unqualified individuals into positions of power is the height of hypocrisy. Partisan policy goals completely aside - it's objectively TERRIBLE leadership and I wouldn't want a McDonald's franchise, let alone a country, to be run this way.
