in all seriousness this is truly terrifying with the people he is putting in place of important roles.

I recently hired a person and had probably the deepest talent pool of interviewees I'd ever seen and I've done many, many hires over the years. The amount of talent, knowledge, expertise, and innovation leaving the federal government at the moment is staggering. You don't waltz into these jobs - they require degrees, achievements, a proven track record, stable personalities, and often extensive background checks. The interview/hiring process for federal jobs is long and cautious. That's not to say there aren't some mediocre employees in the Fed (or any large organization) , but these are largely high flyers and impressive leaders. They face high levels of accountability and transparency in their work. They by and large hold taxpayer dollars in high regard.

So to see lifelong patriots and experts cast out of their jobs with some spreadsheet jockeying while allowing deeply unqualified individuals into positions of power is the height of hypocrisy. Partisan policy goals completely aside - it's objectively TERRIBLE leadership and I wouldn't want a McDonald's franchise, let alone a country, to be run this way.

Blah blah blah. More elitist crap.

You libs want everything. Qualified people. No corruption. Experts working in their field instead of lackeys. Proper hiring methods. Take that communist shit elsewhere.

All I want is for the NhL to go back to one ref two linesmen - is that too much to ask for?

I also want teams to go back to wearing whites at home - The Winnipeg whiteout doesn't make much sense when the team is wearing the blue jerseys.

This! When I had my season tickets for close to 15 seasons I can count on one hand the amount of times I got to see a visiting team not wear white.

It was so cool seeing a black jersey vs. a white jersey 99.99999 % of the time

Keep in mind that a LOT of the furloughed/fired federal workers are "on leave" until September(ish) and cannot apply for unemployment benefits. This is just the damage he's done to the "public" workforce.
