Oh please oh please oh please

in all seriousness that if this had any meat on it and they were building their case and plan then why go public with it until they were fully ready. Also would you not need all Trumps judges on board to do something? even if the Dems are preparing it is probably way too late

Look at GA, NOTHING has happened and essentially the case isn't going to happen because the DA had a relationship with someone who worked with her!

And to top it all off Forest Kemp is going to use Tax dollars to fund Trumps defense.

As you stated unless EVERYONE goes against Trump, which isn't happening, nothing will come of these.

"It's very disappointing, okay?" said Johnson in conversation with CNN congressional correspondent Manu Raju. "I've come to consider Elon a good friend.

Tell us you all are sharing a masturbation monitoring app without telling us you are sharing a masturbation monitoring app.
Which one?
Appsturbation?
Appstinence?
The Joceleyn Elders App?
ASMR Date Night with Lauren Boebert?
7 Minutes in Palm-dale?
Spurtle?
Flight Stimulator '69?
Pickle Balls?
Crop Rotation?
Rosetta Stone Learn Swedish - technically not a masturbation app, but I really liked her voice

I tried them all, none worked. Now I just post on Facebook.

Sadly this is how I envision MAGA. They insist they are right and doesn't matter the pain, anguish and disgust they stick to the part/believe it until the end.

That's not the worst part though, this bill is very draconian in nature, it really strips a lot of online privacy away from Canadians.

Key Highlights of the Strong Borders Act

  1. Expanded Surveillance Powers: The bill grants the Canadian Coast Guard and law enforcement enhanced authority to conduct security patrols and share intelligence, including with U.S. agencies. time.com
  2. Inspection of Mail: Law enforcement agencies are empowered to inspect mail, aiming to curb drug trafficking, particularly fentanyl. time.com
  3. Asylum Restrictions: The legislation proposes denying refugee hearings to certain asylum-seekers, especially those in Canada for over a year or who delay filing claims after entering from the U.S. reuters.com
  4. Digital Border Measures: Provisions in the federal budget bill aim to further digitalize border processes, potentially affecting how personal data is managed and shared. theepochtimes.com

️ Privacy Concerns

Critics argue that the Strong Borders Act could erode online privacy for Canadians:time.com

  • Data Sharing with the U.S.: A new agreement allows U.S. border officials access to Canadian permanent residents’ information, raising concerns about the extent and oversight of shared data. nationalmagazine.ca
  • Digital ID Systems: There are apprehensions about the integration of systems like ArriveCAN into a centralized digital ID framework, which could grant the government extensive control over citizens' access to services. theepochtimes.com
  • Lack of Transparency: Legal experts highlight the absence of public consultations and privacy assessments in implementing these measures, which could lead to unchecked governmental powers. nationalmagazine.ca

⚖️ Conclusion

While the Strong Borders Act aims to enhance national security and address issues like drug trafficking, it raises substantial concerns regarding online privacy and civil liberties. The expansion of surveillance powers, data sharing with foreign entities, and potential for centralized digital identification systems suggest a significant shift in how personal information is managed and protected in Canada. Ongoing public discourse and legislative scrutiny will be crucial in balancing security objectives with the preservation of individual rights

Inspection of Mail:

Canada needs their own version of GDPR (Or join EU).

I mean, America needs it too, but it seems actually plausible to happen in Canada as opposed to whatever the fuck we're doing down here.
