The parents of the victim need to sue the ass off of him after/during his short 5-year sentence.

A prime example of why we need gun owners need to carry liability insurance on each weapon they own. Suing the crap out of some redneck who likes to hang out at the mall waiting for someone to "look" like they are going to rob a store isn't going to get you much. But some NRA approved insurer? Yes.

And if it makes it prohibitively expensive to own 75 guns? Too fucking bad.

And if you're caught using a gun without insurance? Prison.
