When I saw Cody overthrowing those passes in the bowl game, it just showed me mechanically where he is at such a disadvantage as a passing QB.

He is going to have to learn in the offseason how to hit moving targets.........he threw half his passes into the stands against Washington.

I'm just not ready to give up him yet, but I'm not overly optimistic.

Cody has one more chance, and if he improves as much this offseason as he did last, then he may have something.

Someone on rivals was doing their 7 on 7 updates, or some such stupid thing, and said Jamal's been really fast and Spano has been ripping it up throwing the ball...

I'm not entirely thrilled with our QB situation, and hope Taylor can learn some headsmarts.

Who know's what we'd be saying about Spano right now if his knees were not made of papier mache.

I mean obviously he could get better.........but it's all mechanics and getting a feel for it right now for Cody..........you can tell he's not a natural drop back passer. Sometimes he just releases the ball about a half second to early in his throwing motion, which results in a ball that sails 15 feet over the receiver. He needs some real good coaching...

Well I remember seeing Spano's Highlights and being really impressed with him running the spread from a passing standpoint, so it doesn't surprise me he's doing well in 7 on 7's.

I'm talking about standouts if you're face palming me. I'll give you Kyler Reed... Steinkuhler has been an average role player.. Ricky Henry was a horrid pass blocker. Compton average. Cotton average. C. Osborne stepped in at safety nicely.
