I like the idea of chasing Chizek down to run the defense. As for the offensive line coaching... well, fire Barney and purchase a couple of the O-Lineman DVD's off the internet and let the fella's watch them. I am sure there would be a marked improvement up front that would be noticable right away.

If watching a couple of instructional DVD's leads to a marked improvement, then Barney is way more incompetent than even most of us previously thought.....

I'm not saying Cotton shouldn't be fired, but I tend to agree with RA that we really got to look at strength and conditioning to find out why we are being pushed around up front on both sides of the ball......

I doubt they can hire him away from Tennessee before he coaches a game there. Unless they wait till after next season.

Its not even a rumor. The rumor is that Tennessee has narrowed their list down to 5 guys (Fedora, Charlie Strong, Mike Gundy, Jimbo Fisher, and Al Golden). I don't see Gundy or Fisher leaving, so it would come down to Fedora, Strong, and Golden.

I agree with Tom on allpoints and add that its time for the o line to get back to the dinner table and off of the dance floor. WIDER IS BETTER

Our new AD isn't fond of assistant coaches learning on thee job at Nebraska, and neither am I. Let Beck find ONE OL coach that he likes (hint).. find an established DC that will recruit, and knows how to coach.. and bring in Doug Coleman for LBs

Maybe they do.......but there is a lot of player-coach trust that is built over time.......and it's hard to just gain all that right back.

Next year I think we have a chance to make a good run. I don't want to ruin it by going and making changes that will fuck us in the short-term en sech.
