Tom Herman has to be on the Hot Seat. How much time does he have left.

Justin Fuente off the Hot Seat. How long does that last.

Who else you didn't see coming.

Dave Doeren at NC State is suddenly on the hotseat

They've regressed pretty badly this year and losing to Georgia Tech was a bad loss, along with them failing to be competitive in a lot of losses

He did have one of the betters runs in NC State history which might allow him to survive, but there's also the feeling that they could have done more because in each of those seasons they took questionable losses. Then there's Mack bringing new optimism to North Carolina, Clawson has things going at Wake Forest and Drinkwitz is a couple fortunate results from bringing the guys from across the state (Appalachian State) to a NY6 bowl

Mike Gundy got on this list both ways.

When his fan base turned on him because he was on auto pilot, he got on the hot seat.

When he finally went back to work and did what he was hired to do and stopped losing games, he's now off the hot seat.

I don't know if the coach at my school is on the hot seat or not. But his ass should be flaming.

We are more pathetic than we have been...and that is bad.

I'd say Jeremy Pruitt is off the hot seat. Not that I think he was ever gonna be fired this year, but with the way the season started, next year would have probably been make or break for him had he not rebounded to likely win 7 games.

This isn't true. His two predecessors at State, Amato and O'Brien, had similar runs.

Doeren is the definition of mediocrity. Clawson, Brown and Cutcliffe are leagues better than him.

Deacs = 2019 State champs

Was quite the rebuilding job, how many years has he been there?

I thought they had consecutive 9 win seasons for the first time ever?

Either way he is in fact the definition of mediocrity and might actually be the worst FBS coach in the state

important to note that the regular season expanded to 12 games in 2006. Amato won 19 games between 2002-2003. Context is key. In the general scheme of things, the respective peaks of Amato and O'Brien were similar to Doeren's.

Clawson continues to beat him on the field, but ultimately, what's going to lead to Doeren's demise is Mack Brown. Brown and UNC are destroying State on the recruiting front this year. the 3 best players in the state are going to UNC (which is something I was told would not happen when Mack was first hired, lmao)
