With his season ending injury and at his age as well as a long rehab, is it safe to say his career might be over??? And to think the day before the injury they could have sent him packing and got something in return only to be slapped in the face 24 hrs later!! Karma is Bitch!

No his career is not over. He's not a power pitcher and Lefties can survive a long time in this league. Will he every be great again? Who knows.

Can he be an effective pitcher? Probably.

I don't think his career is over at all but he is no longer eligible to be an "ace" of any staff now and will be a 4rd or 4th option... He will have to develop even more pitches...

He made it clear with every other team he went to that he only cared about getting back to Philly.

Something tells me he'll be okay with whatever happens, though I'm sure he was hoping that staying there would yield a WS ring eventually.

Let's see what he does after surgery to fix his arm which he should have had in the first place. He'll be back
