Celtics - especially after their trades- have less talent than Indiana, Miami, Charlotte but they are damn well coached and play hard.

I hope the Cavs take them 100% seriously from the first tip- because decimating them and making them look bad would probably discourage Love from thinking of going there at all.

Sunday will be the first playoff game LeBron has played as a member of the Cavs IN Cleveland since his infamous game 5 against where some people think he quit. This is his time to wash away those memories and dissapointments.

Should be a lot of fun.- I mean- there best players- Isiah Thomas, AVery Bradley, Zeller, Smart, Bass (i thinksully is out)- are no where near as good as the Cavs-

Isaiah Thomas is fun to watch at least. C's will be lucky to win more than 1 game though. Cavs in 5.

I think the Celtics will be lucky to win even one game.

LeBron teams almost always give a team a game in round 1. I think his only first round sweep came the last 2 yrs

In addition to the Celtics, you will probably have three more favorite teams this year. I guess that might be kind of fun. :noidea:

Total # of Playoff Games Played on Roster
Celtics - 139
Cavs - 784

Of course, a lot of the most experienced players on the Cavs get very little playing time and two of their most important players have 0 playoff experience, so...

Composite Team Playoff Experience per 48 minutes*
Celtics - 11.55
Cavs - 40.8

*Each players number of playoff games played * % of teams minutes that player played this season.

Good research. Didn't remember those 2.

Still think Boston take a game. Wouldn't be shocked by a sweep though

Yeah the cavs really have no experience among their key players after LeBron. Basically Jr who made the playoffs frequently in Denver & also Mozgov/Shump made the playoffs 2x each in their career I believe

So, what you're saying is that LeBron teams always give a team a game in round 1, except for when they don't, which is about half the time?

Just did my research, Mozgov & shump both really only have one year of experience so cavs playoffs experience is really LeBron & Jr.

JR Smith postseason numbers are awful. If he play to those numbers, cavs won't make the finals. 38% from the field & 30% from 3 in 51 games

But who was JR playing with when he put up those numbers? Doesn't everyone put up terrible number playing alongside Melo?

To be fair, Boston is playing much better entering the playoffs than 3 of the 4 teams. I'm pretty sure the Wizards were missing their 2 best players in that series. That Pistons team was shitty also

Yeah but he was putting much better numbers in the regular season each of those years but fell off the map each year in the playoffs
