...wow just wow....

For the record, up until post#69 (which is nothing), I have never responded to any of your so called pat me on the back professional football discussions!!....never. zeke, I've read many of your posts since you've signed up here on the hoop and think you're a pretty decent poster. In reading your posts I found that we may not always agree however your posts often come from some media source or another so it not like you talk out of your ass and I can respect that.

Now I've been all over this SportsHoopla Rams board since SeeBS shut down ours over there. In this time I've got to know some of you ESPN refugee too (And thankful that Larry character didn't show up with you.). You guys all seem to be a cool bunch to add to the mix and a welcomed diversity to the fold.

All this Clemens/Bradford/Shottie dialog that has been going on is just brutal at times between us Rams fans. It has brought out the worst with a lot of us and I'm no exception, I've called it ... 'having fun'.

Since most of us aren't pulling any punches in here as we fart around with it all there can be some misunderstandings along the way. I thought when you said you didn't know who the hell I was and had never read or replied you were farting around with that business.

Heck besides the reply you made to my post in this thread, I known you've posted on several threads I've created as well.

So look, if this is truly your first interaction with me, I should yield to some of my own advise I put out there yesterday for another poster and tread a little lighter.

No hard feelings bruddah!

We're all Rams fans in the end, no matter what side of the table we sit on over this QB/Offensive clicking thing anyhow.

Certainly NOT you Bradford lovers. Tell me this DK7000, you give credit to your boy Sam for last year tieing and beating San Fran, beating Seattle - when most of us know that it was Greg the Leg and our D. You said, "WHO GOT US INTO FG POSITION AND RAN THE OFFENSE?"

And when Sam has stepped up and had a great game, the blame always lies with him according to you.

YET... here you down play Clemens throwing 1 TD, making some good plays and good throws, and running the offense.

I downplay the idea of Clemens being a starting QB on this team for any reason other than the starting QB being injured.

AND I'M THE ONE WITH AN AGENDA?

Yes.

What exactly is that BS? Are you seriously that in love?

I've already stated my desire to take a QB in this draft and move on from Bradford. I tend to criticize his play when it's merited.

See I call Sam bad when he's bad. I call Sam average when he's average. And I never said that Clemens has been on fire, but for coming in as the back-up and not having the entire pre-season and 6-7 games to gel with the offense... He's doing pretty good running the offense and way better than we all expected.

And when Sam has had great games, you don't say a peep. Clemons has managed the offense well the last two games, but that hardly means it's a result from his leadership.

You people give all the excuses in the book as to why Sam didn't succeed with this offense. AND you find every reason why Clemens is getting lucky and everyone around him has all of sudden come to play..?

Excuses? No, I tend to acknowledge reality. And the reality is our young players are starting to get more comfortable in this offense and it's clear that they are finally starting to react and not think on the field. Not to mention the addition of Saffold at guard has helped the run game tremendously.

I love how some are saying the offense wasn't clicking under Bradford, but once the change to a power running game was installed after the 49er loss, we put up back to back 30+ point performances. This idea that it wasn't starting to come together until after Bradford left is complete bullshit.

Lets just agree to be happy the Rams are playing better because they are. Not for any other reason but they just are. :suds: Go Rams kick some 9er tail.

Come on man!

If he had been following along the thread, he would have understood how his 'strong opinion' impacted amongst the banter. And if he understood that, he probably wouldn't have been so confused/offended(?) by my reply.

I like zeke however I had to explain what was going on. How is that my problem? He didn't even know he had responded to my post for goodness sakes!! Didn't know that he had posted on several threads that I've created. :noidea:

Reading whats been going on with these boards regarding current topics such as the Bradford/Clemens/Shottzie/Offenseive Click thing before we post will help us respond accordingly and understand the impact of our input.

I'm sorry zeke was unaware of the convos going on, he seems like a good guy who just got his jimmies rustled.

It happens....

Clemens is doing better than I thought. I honestly thought Brady Quinn would have replaced him by now. Give credit where credit is due. Kudos to Clemens!

First off, when has Sam ever had a great game?

2nd.. Why would I blame him if did actually, finally have a great game? And Always blame him huh? See that's where you're wrong. I love good football. I root for the Rams. But when has Sam ever impressed you?

I just don't think he's that good. I think he's been average his whole NFL career and IF anything, he's looked really bad/lost at times, especially against good defenses.

It is was it is.

Agenda... Ha! The Rams have some swag right now.

Okay maybe a slight exaggeration on my part. You're correct Vita...Zeke is a good poster and a good guy. I've been communicating with him via the espn MB for years. He's a great Rams Fan. :suds:

You know he has. Your heads in your rear end if you think he hasn't.

2nd.. Why would I blame him if did actually, finally have a great game? And Always blame him huh? See that's where you're wrong. I love good football. I root for the Rams. But when has Sam ever impressed you?

Because he has stepped up and performed very well before and not so much as a peep has come from you. Against the Redskins and the tie against the Niners last year he was impressive. As well, the Falcons, Cards and Texans games this year.

I just don't think he's that good. I think he's been average his whole NFL career and IF anything, he's looked really bad/lost at times, especially against good defenses.

I agree. I think he has been average over his career. Some of it is obviously on him, but to not acknowledge other factors that have an impact that Sam has no control over is ridiculous.

It is was it is.

Agenda... Ha! The Rams have some swag right now.

It's always good to see the Rams with swag and a winning attitude.

Let me know when our " starting quarterback" completes more than ten passes.

He may have to, this Sunday. :gaah: The 49ers are notorious for shutting down the occasional running game. I mean, let's face it... they're no Chicago Bears when it comes to the run. Let's hope Stacy, Bam-Bam, and the offensive line keep puttin' in work, or Clemens may have to throw the ball more than 20 times in this one.

He might be able to pull it off. Who knows? Personally, I'd prefer to err on the side of caution and not have to find out. Lol.

I know he has? Lol. When? Where? try doing it without going back too far.

See this is where you are dead ass wrong. Falcons game? He was good against prevent yes. Was I impressed no. Because did nothing until he was down 21 in the Falcons game. Cards game was a good game as well and a comeback. Great game? Nah. Texans? It was a great win, but it wasn't a great game by Sam. It's NEVER been - Sam put the team on his back and had a great game.

EVER. And that's not hate. That's the truth.

SJ, I think you need to just give it up!

These guys continually bring up the Atlanta game, I guess they just don't get the prevent defense thing and being down big and "having" to throw the ball, of course Sammies going to put up numbers. These are the same guys that complain that we are giving up a ton of yards and TD's because we always seem to be playing prevent defense from the start of every game. These are the same guys that say Sammie was having a great year because his TD to interceptions were 14-4. I'm sorry but he had many interceptions dropped, he threw like 10 TD passes that were less than 8 yards, his completion % is the highest it's ever been, why, because his passes are in effect just a long handoff! He's not throwing the ball very far, thus his completion % actually should be even better than it is!

Trust me Clemens is not the answer but he does bring a little something different to the team and it's working, for now! But I can see him having a bad game this week, then look out for all the Sammie defenders ripping into him!

I probably shouldn't be doing this because SJ76 is a big boy and can take care of himself. But I really don't understand why so many are attacking him for his opinions. I have read thru many of the threads and at first I thought it was a Sam vs Clemons thing or a Sam lovers vs the Sam haters but in reading, most posters have in the end actually agreed with SJ on most of what he posts. So then I have to believe the problem is the way he presents his arguments. To that I say people get over it. We are all different and have different styles. If you want to pick apart a post do so but instead of raising your voice reinforce your argument. If you cant see the humor and attitude in SJs post then your shoes may be alittle to tight. He doesn't feel Bradford is the way neither do I or many others. So what. We could be wrong. And others could be right. We shall see. But if you are gonna punch a guy in the mouth everytime he posts an opinion seems only fair he be allow to punch back. Just my take.
