-You know why Kellen Clemens was good?
Because WRs got open and caught passes.

-You know how WRs got open and caught passes?
Because the line protection gave them time to.

-You know how the line protection gave them time to?
Because the RBs kept the Bears from pinning their ears back.

-You know how the RBs kept the Bears D from pinning their ears back?
They forced them to focus on Stacy, Cunningham AND the WR/TEs.

-You know why they had to focus on Stacy, Cunningham AND the WR/TEs?
Because Kellen Clemens was good.

...repeat until game is over with the Rams in the "W" column.

Execution... execution... EXECUTION!

Gotta be the biggest fluffer post I've ever seen from Caynine! :laugh3:

Good job brudah!!!

1 ST TD. 1 Defensive TD. 3 short TD's by Sam - 2 after turnovers/ they weren't special long drives at all. Yeah the Texans fell apart.

Jacksonville just beat them. The Texans are looking at a top 5 pick because they suck so bad. C'mon man get it together! :suds:
You see here you are using stats to make your point against Sam in victory yet not good enough when he does well in a loss.

Come on man you get it together, the Rams had 3 scoring TD drives of 65, 80 & 80.

:lol:Sure, three short TD drives, my ass!

OK, I have read every post, I am not a Bradford hater, but do wish he would take a wage cut so other quality players can be signed. I do think Clemens has done pretty good but also it is because Fisher got the right running back carrying the ball and the line has improved. We still need to look QB for the future in the draft, not 1st or 2nd round but someone that over time reading a clip board and running the other teams plays will learn the NFL life. Is Bradford a bust? Not enough information but the jury is still out if he can get us back to a Super Bowl. Is Clemens our next QB to get us back to the Super Bowl? Probably not but he is a guy that can tutor and come in a help a team during injuries and if the game plan is basic as the Rams have been running lately, he can run it enough to be successful. All in all, the Rams are playing better, Sam could do this if the scheme was run and throw 15 to 20 times and take a shot now and then, but if it is dink and dunk, no QB is going to be successful if that is the only scheme for the Rams. I say draft a QB, let him compete in training camp and lets see where it takes us.

Yeah two 2-yard passes and one 4 yard pass is top notch! 12/16 117 Yards - game manager. Sorry drives were good, not impressed by the dinking and dunking though.

And it still doesn't take away that the point was Houston's D is not good. Please. Jville beat them.

I like Clemens as the backup, but the next time they ask himto throw a fade pattern on 3rd and goal from the 5, I'm going to go into cardiac arrest...He can't throw a short touch pass to save his life...He has made a lot of very good throws the past few weeks...He has also made a bunch of mediocre to poor throws in the same period...I'm not happy with what Bradford has done to this point in his career, but I think he will look exponentially better next year with the young team coming around and Fisher changing the dynamics of the offense...If Sam doesn't have a good year in 2014, then I will join the club that thinks the Rams need to go in a different direction at QB...I don't think that will happen...

You kind of left out an important acronym on those two 2-yard passes and that was TD's!

Those two 2 yard passes were TD's brudah and we really could have used just ONE of those type of shorties in the Seahawks game, don't cha think?

Hey, remember when you use to say Sam sucked azz because he sucked azz in the redzone and then oh how that changed and you didn't have that one in your bag of tricks any longer? :laugh3:

If I'm gonna have a game manager behind center, I want one who can throw the rock for a TD, don't you?

BINGO, WE HAVE A WINNER!!! DING!!! DING!!! DING!!!

Why is that Zeke?

Why do you think the offensive line suddenly started to 'click'?

Why didn't they 'click' early in the season in the first 5 games?

Why now?

Could it be they pulled in the Tight ends? Could it be they now have a Full Back to support the OL's efforts?
.........Nope that was last year

Interesting article there zeke! Interesting they say it started with the Jacksonville game, the same game I've been pointing out that the Rams changed their scheme. Quite a coincidence there don't cha think? Also interesting in this article is that they had to stop that action vs the Titans because of the Dahl injury. Very interesting again don't cha think?

Look haters, it's about scheme, and if you don't know that I don't know what else to say. :L

And he only contributed 1 TD to that effort yesterday. The big gains in the running game is behind our success on offense. Period. I get that you and others need to promote an anti-Bradford agenda to fit your warped reality. But no one with half a brain thinks this success is because Clemens is at QB.

We'll see how well this team plays when going up against SF, NO, AZ and SEA down the stretch. Hopefully the W's keep coming. That would mean we're a QB away from seriously contending.

If we would have run the ball more effectively with Bradford at the helm, we'd be in a lot better position than we are in now. No team can have a successful running game with Richardson as the starting RB.

DK it's not as if this was Sam's first season. We have been watching him for three season's and he has not improved...in fact this season he slid backwards a bit. The excuses that go along with Bradford like it's the coaches or it's the receivers or it's the o-line. Enough! the same team he started the season with looks completely different under Clemens. The o-line is happier to have Clemens because he avoids the sack. He can move in the pocket which is something Sam just doesn't do very well. Sorry if my post has ticked you and others off it was not my intention. I don't have the luxury of watching the games live but from what I heard on the radio broadcast and the highlights Clemens made some balls out big league passes yesterday. He may not be the Rams future but he has sure shown me that Bradford needs to be replaced. If anyone thinks Bradford will lead the Rams to the SB or even the NFC Championship then I have a bridge to sell ya.

PMFJI, especially when y'all seem quite a bit more knowledgeable about the intricacies of the Rams than I am, but a few random thoughts.

It sure seems to me that there has been a significant change in the offensive philosophy the last few games. I'm not sure if it's because Clemens is more willing to throw downfield than Bradford or it's been a change in the play-calling, but I like it.

Although Bradford is a major check-downer, which I hate, I do recall a game where he did throw down the middle during a good drive and there were 4 bad drops of very good throws. I've never seen 4 terrible drops in 1 drive before or since. But Bradford does appear to be very hesitant to throw down the middle.

Clemens couldn't throw a lob pass into the corner if his kid's life depended on it. Quit calling it.

It appears that they've finally figured out how to use Austin, which is a significant factor in spreading out opposing defenses to a degree.

Although I didn't get to see any of the first 3-4 games, several of my Rams friends commented that a couple of those games were the worst games they've ever seen from the Rams, and we've been watching for a long time. They attributed these games primarily to the offensive schemes and especially bad play-calling.

Nothing too deep here, just thought I'd throw these comments out and say that it's good to enjoy watching the Rams again.

No, the ship turned around when Stacy became the starting running back.

And no, you didn't just post his post-game, you said we found our starting QB, which is ridiculous. I'm hoping our starting QB is in the draft or it's Sam actually turning into a playoff caliber QB. We won't go anywhere with Clemens as QB.

How can it be ridicules that the Rams found their starting QB? He's starting! not Quinn or whats his name and sorry DK Sam is done. He is done as a Ram. You don't get overshadowed by your backup and keep your job in the NFL. The NFL stands for not for long if you don't produce, and Sams days as a Ram are numbered.

You are going to hate life when Sam steps behind center on the first snap of the game in game one next year.

If he does well, I hope you can change your tune!

I had no idea Fisher was posting here. Please, sir, could you diagram how you are going to attack the 49ers defense next week? :D

Fisher came here because he liked Bradford, first and foremost. Remember, that was before the RGIII trade and its bevy of picks - and why he fault he could make that trade.

I think you may be overstating your case just a tad.

Its possible he won't be here, but it sure as heck isn't likely when Fisher and Snead are running the organization.

I could easily see Clemens stink up the joint in the next few games against the Niners, Seahawks, Cards and Saints. I have grave doubts that we'll see success like we did against the free falling Colts and the injury decimated Bears (32nd against the run, 28th in points allowed).

How about we get through the end of the season first?

So what are you trying to say? That you have been right all along?? Ummm...new flash here, just for the record, I have never responded to or for that matter dont remember even reading any of you posts. So how would I know what youve pointed out? You can pat yourself on the shoulder to some other poster:laugh3:

Excuse me, this article talks about rotating their o-lineman and the success by doing so. Where in the hell does it say anything about changing their scheme?? .... So since your pointing things out, havent you seen Bradfords poor leadership on the field this year??? His .."ho humm"... attitude after a 3 and out? Thats what Im trying to point out.

Fisher came here for two 1st rounders a year for 3 years and of course he's built Bradford's confidence up. But don't sit there and say he came here for Bradford alone. Sure having a "good" QB helped, but two 1st rounders a year makes people drool that want to start over and build a team.

You are delirious if you think a Fisher came here for 1 player that has potential. Lol

I agree we have faced some so so defenses, but don't forget the stinker Bradford put up against the 49ers and that D. To expect Clemens to do well against those solid defenses is a little bit far fetched.

Oh how we forget.

Ummm derrrrrrr...... post 69! That was you responding to my post.

Go read your article and tell me it doesn't site the Jacksonville game when these changes were made. Yes if you care to read the thread and share in the discussion you may have noted a few posters talking about the offensive scheme changes. Primarily trashing the spread offense for the double Tight End sets with the addition of a Full Back in the back field so we can start running the ball again. Your article collaborated this for those of us pointing out this fact. By the way this change you are trying to peddle happend two nay nearly three weeks prior to our change at QB and ended according to your article prior to the Rams winning a game under Clemens.

Look you may not know me at all like you claim however I will tell you something about me. I love the Rams, have for a long time and that's all I really care about. It's fun to come on here and banter a bit but that's about it.

~ Cheers!
