Very cool tribute!! Thanks for sharing it. This kind of thing is why I have so much respect for the Celtics. I especially liked that they didn't just focus on basketball, they showed him involved in doing good outside of basketball.
Classy tribute, for a classy guy, from a class organization!!
Trojan, it was very cool. He, KG and Paul gave everything in the last 6 or 7 years. They embodied basketball as Red promoted. Tough, scrappy, smart and defensive. Boston is a dirt dawg sports culture and they all played and coached like that.
Now the next team needs to keep the mojo going. Doc deserved the thank you and he is part of the family now. He will be back in some capacity some day
I can understand some people feeling "disrespected" by Doc leaving and beforehand saying he wanted to stay here in Boston to "rebuild" the team. In reality though Brad Stevens is the correct coach for this process and Not Doc. I wish him the best of luck and he was an always will be a classy guy and deserves respect.
