Lions defense was very impressive today. Couldn't help but wonder how much of a difference it would or wouldn't have made had Rogers been able to play.

It would have mattered a lot, Lions had TO problems early and Rodgers gets more points out of that and he also gets more points for the game, yardage (TOP) etc, I think the Lions showing resolve like they did still would have won but we would have been talking about a 3-8 point game, not 30.

The Pack would have scored more than 3 on offense. But that was still 40 points and 560 yards against what looked to be a pretty bad Packers D. Their problems go beyond a missing Aaron Rodgers I think.

The Pack would have scored more than 3 on offense. But that was still 40 points and 560 yards against what looked to be a pretty bad Packers D. Their problems go beyond a missing Aaron Rodgers I think.

Pretty much any defense would have looked bad, I think. Detroit has too many weapons to stop when the GB offense can manage only seven first downs and 126 yards of offense.

Thought it was kind of interesting watching the game yesterday to think what a difference Rogers might have made in that game. I typically think that QBs get both too much credit and too much blame for their team's success or failure, but it was pretty clear that Flynn gave GB absolutely no chance in that game. About as stark a contrast as I could imagine when compared to what Rogers is capable of.

It's absurd to say the lions won by 30 and Rodgers wouldn't have closed a 30 point gap, therefore the lions still would have won. If Aaron Rodgers started that game it changes the whole complexion of the game.

If Rodgers doesn't get hurt the Packers are probably 9-2 right now. You can't say the Lions would have scored 40 points on the Packers if they had Rodgers because the Packers would have been on the field longer than they were without him. Not hard to understand. I don't know why people think the score of the opposing team would have been the same.
