I love the fact that CJ Anderson really wants to be a Bronco and remain in Denver but it still seems like this was a major front office screw up. Now we're paying him a lot more than we may have been able to if dealt with earlier. I like CJ a lot but that cap hit worries me. This is also arguably a move to quell some of the nervousness about our off season so far. I think CJ is pretty well liked in the locker room, so it's a good thing for team chemistry.

It's being stated here in the Northeast that Denver did indeed match the Miami Offer Sheet. Maybe the Dolphins can have Mario Williams play both ways......heh heh

Cap Hit wise this year this deal stinks for the Broncos. The nice thing though is beyond this year it is a very team friendly deal. Throw in like said above he is a great locker room guy and a true 3-down RB for the Broncos. Just hope he is ready to roll from day 1 this year not start going in week 8 of the season. Done that now 2 years in a row. Maybe needs to go work out with Tony Horton and Eddie Lacy to make sure he is ready for training camp.

I know I'm gonna get killed for this, but resign Hillman as cheap as possible, and get a plan in place to shore up that OL. Our running game was incredibly hot and cold last year, but I think with a better OL unit the 1-2 punch of CJ and Hillman still could be dynamic.

The one major concern here with Anderson is the health IMO. There wasn't maybe but 4-5 games all year where he didn't come up lame at some point in the game.

Glad to see CJ Anderson return. He does max effort and he can catch the ball. The offense needs a leader sine neither QB is returning.
