Too easy
It's basically a mod of Civ5 but not nearly as mature

Oh well... Wait for the exPansion

I played Civ5 a couple times, but it was a COMPLETELY different game from the previous versions.

I play 4 every once in a while, but it is too slow.

2 was the best, and 3 was very playable.

I think CIV4 is the best of the bunch especially with expansions. The combat in CIV5 is very different but I got used to it and like the game (Anyone remember Panzer General?)

I was looking forward to Beyond Earth. Is it out? Did you actually play it?

I completely abandoned the series after 5, so no.

Is it supposed to be something like the Beyond Earth edition of 3? That was OK, but it added too many variables, I think. You could basically build all your own units and it had different dimensions you could build in. Interesting ideas, but just a bit to weird for my tastes. I never really got into it.
