This was a really dumb trade. The Niners are injured every year and they pick up this guy to add to the mix. Last year, it all came together because they got healthy at the right time. Maybe that happens again, but either way, this trade was dumb.

That's what I'm reading. They're only paying him $690K for the rest of this season and only $1M is guaranteed in the remaining years of his contract. Also, they can ask him to restructure next season in exchange for giving him more guaranteed money.

49ers are going for the SBOWL at this point. The entire NFC looks like absolute trash and the 9ers have a defense (at least when healthy) and Jimmy Gpoarlrorlrorlol can still do SOME things. I actually do believe Shanny can get huge use out of CMAC and the 9ers have some injury at the position.

Basically all the 9ers have to do is run the ball and pass < 5 times a game and they should waltz into the NFC championship.

The Panthers are apparently in fire sale mode, but what a disaster.

It hurts Deebo's value on my fantasy team, but in real life, Deebo has already been handsomely paid and he's probably happy that he doesn't have to run the ball out of the backfield anymore or at least not as often as before.

Just keep executing the same game plan when the Niners faced the Vikings in the playoffs 3 years ago. Jimmy threw like 5 times in that game. At least no matter what Jimmy does, he always makes it look good.

49ers and Seattle kind of seemed to abandon the whole "sell the farm" for the QB approach. I'm curious to see what San Fran is going to do with Lance when the contract is up for renewal.

The more weapons the better. This is a great problem to have. They'll both be on the field on 3rd down and it will keep opposing defenses guessing. Deebo's value to the team is still sky high.

Now they just need to stay reasonably healthy. The biggest question mark for this trade is McCaffrey staying healthy. Niners will have to be content with Jimmy being Jimmy. He doesn't have the great arm, but he knows the offense well and is capable of making quick decisions. Just get the ball out quickly to one of many playmakers in Deebo, McCaffrey, Kittle, and Aiyuk, and the offense should be okay.
