Chris Phillips announces his retirement

Good Alberta boy who had a fine NHL career. Just a good, solid NHL player and by all accounts a great person and family man. Enjoy retirement Chris.

It's time. A truly good guy (met him a few times) and at one point formed perhaps the best shutdown duo in the NHL with Volchenkov. They were awesome together for a couple of years.
