Yikes. That's a big loss. They might be able to tread water if Redick can come back quickly and they patchwork Crawford/Collison/Redick in there. Either way, it could have big seeding implications

Blake fits better with CP3 than Melo does especially when you already have another chuck in Crawford on the team. That deal makes no sense for the Clippers

It's going to be more than 3-4 weeks if it's a separated shoulder - those things are painful and there is a risk of separating it again once that has happened - that's bad news

Seeing as they have no other PF than Blake I would agree but a Melo/CP3 combo sounds intriguing. All Melo would need to do is catch and shoot off of penetration if he would accept that role. He would also give the Clips more scoring punch at the SF position and would not have to be the leader.

Don't be surprised if it ends up being more - separated shoulders are painful and it takes time for them to return to normal
