You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.
I have a flex spot open and none of my other bench players impress me much. Not that Ivory seems like an overwhelming choice. But since the game is tonight I can't dwell too much on whether to sit/start Ivory.
Here's what others are saying:
Rotoworld: Bilal Powell was also ineffective on the ground... but Ivory is going to have to play better than this to earn a bigger role. ...Keep Ivory on fantasy benches entering Week 2 against the Patriots.
USA Today: Ivory’s blend of size and speed will create a tough test for the defense’s interior players, and the New England Patriots surrendered 136 rushing yards against the Buffalo Bills. Gang Green must run at them, and Ivory will look to atone for his bad game.
CBS: Fantasy owners should probably stay away from both Bilal Powell nor Chris Ivory for Week 2 against the Patriots... Our experts have Powell ranked slightly higher for Week 2 (34th on average, vs. 40th for Ivory), but neither has the makings of anything more than a flex option in deeper formats this week.
ESPN: It was predictable that the Bucs' top-rated rush defense would shut down the Jets.
And for the record, here's my other flex options: Bowe vs DAL; Mike Williams vs NO; Ingram @ TB.
So if you guys sway me away from Ivory, then I can blame you guys.
