DAMN IT!!!!!!!!
Unbelievable. What a dick. Good bye Chris. I dont want you back. This kills us. Thats two 3rd baseman gone now.
Weiters
Machado
Davis
Thanks Chris
What a HUGE disappointment to O's fans who were hopeful we could make a run this year. We already had to deal with Wieters and Machado (2 great players) going down and now this. I'm sure the Yankee's and everyone else in our division are laughing now. This is a huge blow to the team and its fan base. Thanks Chris Davis, you bum!!!

Frankly, I don't think it's THAT big of a loss. Davis was boom or bust this year, mostly bust. Still hitting under .200, but supplying occasional power and driving in runs. Pearce has 1B down, and we will need Flaherty to man 3B. Hopefully JJ's injuries are behind him, because we cannot afford to lose any other infielders at this point. As disappointing as it is, I honestly don't think this really affects our playoff chances.
Honestly, I'm not sure how big of a blow it really is. Flaherty doesn't have the power of Davis by any means, but I think he gets on base more by a decent margin. As long as JJ is healthy that puts Pearce at first permanently now, Schoop at second, JJ at short and Ryan at 3rd. Cruz/De Aza in left and Young DH'ing when Cruz isn't.
GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!

Not really though...
Davis OBP - .300
Flaherty OBP - .278
