It's odd that they brought up his comments about gay players. Ridiculous article but yeah, he's a moron and needs some serious help.

It's sensationalistic bullshit, not journalism. I guess there is no account for taste. People will be enthralled by most anything these days. "Not only did he hit and run a cyclist, BUT, he also had a negative comment and maintains a negative opinion of the gays! Sentence him to life!"

I don't agree. To the average person in the Bay Area, they only know Chris Culliver as "that football player who made those homophobic comments." It provides a frame of reference. I'm not saying that's all he should be known for, but the reality is that that's the one thing about him that drew national news coverage. It's going to follow him for awhile.
As I said, it's sensationalism and nothing more. You may hate jellyfish. Maybe to jellyfish lovers that's news. To me, who gives a fuck. I don't have an affinity for jellyfish, so if you don't like them, meh?
