Sigh...Ok there is a over hang that helps with the noise. Domes actually cover the whole stadium, yet posters act like this partial over hang that keeps part of the crowd from getting wet from rain and snow is some how a unique engineering feat. Gets a little old and really who cares? It's not Seahawks fans that bring up how loud the Clink is, it's those who feel they got to dis credit the noise that bring it up.

Harold is now an acoustical engineer.

Why Seattle fans just can't admit this obvious fact is beyond humorous.

P.S. I wonder if KC will pump crowd noise through the PA system like they do in seattle....

Kansas City Chiefs fans set loudest stadium record at Arrowhead

In the battle for loudest NFL stadium, victory appears to belong to the Kansas City Chiefs -- for now.

The Chiefs' official Twitter account said Sunday that fans had broken the world record for loudest sports venue during Kansas City's 24-7 victory over the Oakland Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium.

The 137.5 decibels, if upheld, would top the 136.6 decibels set by the Seahawks on Sept. 16, when Seattle topped the San Francisco 49ers in a "Sunday Night Football" beat down.

But don't expect the Seahawks to take this loss lightly.

Congrats to the KC fans who were at the game. It's fun to know you were a part of something noteworthy.

I was at the Seattle game when we broke the record and I was excited to know we were recognized for our feat.

Looking passed that though, no, it's really not that big of a deal to just hold the record. It doesn't mean much. What does hold meaning is the fact that the 12th Man is loud and physically affects the game on the field. Don't believe me? Ask the Giants, who committed 11 false starts in 1 game. We don't need a record to know we're effective and in the head's of opposing teams.

11 straight wins at home.

Brees - check
Brady - check
Kaep - check, check
Romo - check
Rodgers - check

Russell Wilson is 11-0 at home. Too bad we don't get a shot at Peyton in the regular season in Seattle. Maybe we'll get to see them in the Superbowl, eh?
