Griffin isn't nearly good enough to say what he wants. He shows ZERO signs of being an NFL QB. I'd love to see Cousins play but not throw him to the wolves after they are down 17-0.

dad i didn't get that opinion from Twitter or Bleacher Report. Those are my observations. Shanahan's created an offense last year for Griffin that caught people by surprise.

Griffin can't read defense's, he has no pocket presences at all. Who the hell else playing QB have you seen backup instead of step up? He stares down receivers and doesn't understand route trees. He is also not accurate and he holds the ball too long at times. Hopefully he gets better but right now h looks like the 2nd coming of Michael Vick.

Didn't he lead the NFL in 20+ yard passes last year and have a ridiculous passer rating?

I think the recent bad is making you forget the positives in his legs AND his arm/vision. Saying he can't be an NFL quarterback is pretty extreme in my opinion. Most NFL QBs take 2-3 years to be competent pro quarterbacks. We were spoiled last year, we shouldn't be so reactionary this year.

(1) Most of those yards came from passes in the pocket. (2) If he has the skills to make the plays, I don't give a crap whether he is inside or outside the hash marks when the ball leaves his hand.
