I don't think they'll pull that trigger for a RB when they're paying Rodgers what he is. It'd be crazy for them to do it as far as the cap is concerned. That's not a passrusher.

Bell could take them to the SB.....Or at least close to it.

Sure but they'd be extending A-Rod's career. He takes a lot of hits because they don't have a running game or a RB like Bell who can also catch the ball.

It'd be a wise investment.

Whatever abstraction you use, it'll never happen as the Packers (along with the Steelers and Bengals) will not shell out the GTD cash to make it happen. That's the holdup with the Steelers, it'd be the holdup in GB. And don't even begin to @ me at how GB did it for Rodgers.

Maybe they'll make an exception for Bell.
Strongly doubt it. Bengals, Steelers, and Packers all do business relatively similarly is my understanding. Of all teams, those 3 are the least likely to want Bell in the abstract; the Steelers are stuck with him for now though.
