The clock should’ve also kept going when Mahomes was hit in bounds when that personal foul was called. He got hit in bounds going backwards. Not forward.
If you dont think it was made up for by that pass interference at the 5, you are really lost. I thought it was Favre and Rodgers that got the refs on the fudge side.

This game is not about the refs...yes there were bad calls and non-calls at the end. It happens, but I'm of the belief that it evens out and it is what it is. You either over come them or you fold up and feel sorry for yourself. Does anybody see the Chiefs' fans whining about them on here or that it cost them the game?
I think over a season it generally even out just like everything else. I do think individual games swing on calls pretty obviously.

Bigger trend in football is a lot of the high flying AFC passing attacks seem to have been grounded. When you have that major variable, a lot of the other variables seem to get more attention.

I hate when you guys are right, y'know...

I'm hoping MVS won't be a Chief next season...
when he lost the game for them a couple weeks ago, I said, if he was not wearing a pound of gold around his neck he might have been a little faster to get under the ball. At least it looked like he was wearing a smaller chain.

Packers played a very good game last night other than their rush defense :gaah:

No doubt the PI not called on MVS was big no-call. KC would have had 40 seconds from 5 yard line to punch it in and try for 2 pt conversion to force OT.

We'll that's a different play all together... We're referring to the PF on Mahomes... If you'd like to have a different conversation about that play you're referring to... Then ok... No need to though because it was definitely PI...

Think teams will sit their young QBs for a few years? Love was a nothing prospect and has turned out decent enough by sitting a couple years first.

I don't know if it takes a couple year, but it is for sure helpful to have them sit until they at least understand the game. Look at how many play right away and you can see just don't comprehend the pro game, then flame out.

I still don't know if Love is all that some want to make him out to be, but he's playing well right now.

I wouldn't say he was a nothing prospect. Probably the same level as Hurts coming out or higher, tbh. Chiefs said they had teams on the line to trade up in rd1 until Love went off the board and then the lines went silent.

But...sitting a year in a good organization...good idea.

I guess that depends on whether the team already has a decent vet QB on the roster.

That's helpful, but the organization also has to be able to deal with the vet QB having his feelings hurt.
Carolina did not have either of those issues, so...Bryce Young, get in there, meat

That's probably most of the problem is he wasn't ready and they turned him into meat.

the narrative has changed again.

wasn't all that long ago the story was play um, college football, 7 on 7, and QB schools said these guys are ready.

might be up to the individuals total make-up.

Fun thing about the NFL is that this stuff does tend to change every five to ten years.

I do still think you can throw some QBs out to the wolves but only if they've seen enough football. Jordan Love came out at a really young age.

You still see accuracy issues even on his completions

But he looks like top 15 maybe even top 10 starter after looking pretty mediocre to start.

I don't disagree. Some things I do like is he is stepping forward into the pocket more often. I don't like how quick he bails from the pocket, but seems to have some kind of plan and will throw it away.

We'll see what he becomes. Most guys in the NFL say it takes about 20 to 25 games to get a pretty full grasp of the defenses and generally won't be surprised by the things thrown at you. So far he's done well, but in no way is he a finished product. If he keeps growing and improving, I don't know the limit, and hopefully I've already seen the floor.
