No such thing as a tie in baseball.
Tell that to Bud Selig.

That's why you always have to run it out. If Soler was running from beginning he probably would have had a shot at an inside the parker
Only way the Cubs win now is with a Russell walk followed by a Kyle HR. Cubs now a have a 0% chance of winning this game. Goodnight everyone and congrats Indians. That was a spectacular performance by your SP and Miller time.
I agree he should've hustled, but he would've been out by a mile. The Indians got the ball back to the infield in about 12 seconds. I figure they could've gotten the ball to home plate in another second or second and a half. The fastest recorded inside the park HR was 13.95 seconds (Dee Gordon), and there's no way Soler is that fast.
Does Joe Buck want Schwarber to have his child?
Would the cutoff man have heard the shouts to throw home over the crowd noise though? You can't assume hat he would have assumed the runner would have tried for the inside-the-parker.
And if Schwarber just hits a game tying HR?
You still have both of your closers lurking in the pen.
You really think Buck is the husband? That's awesome, I'm sure Smoltz just slid his chair over a bit so Buck play with himself watching his wife at the plate
