The Cubs fans deserve this more.....it's been much longer since their last WS win than the Indians.

I get that, but my Dad wasn't even born the last time the Tribe won, he retired 4 years ago. My Grandfather was 28 and he's been dead for 15 years. It's not like there are a lot of Clevelanders that remember that WS, or were alive for it.

Great Dayne

I was right even if you believe I was wrong

Congrats to the Cubs. Cleveland needs to add a power hitter. A nice clean up hitter.

They're losing two of their top power hitters to free agency, though it shouldn't be that hard to replicate Napoli's 113 wRC+. Santana will be a little more difficult to replace (132 wRC+, .366 OBP). Naquin showed some decent pop (14 homers in just 365 PA), but he'll probably see some regression (.411 BABIP and he still had a sub-.300 batting average).

Napoli has looked done in this WS. Cleveland can find a better player.

I would be shocked if the Indians don't pick up Santana's option for next year. Then again, it is the Dolans, we talking about.
