Goddamn it, Cousins gets sacked on 3rd down and then we punt, only gaining about a net of 20 yards by punting. Jesus Fucking Christ we cannot do that shit

The Raiders have no rushing attack. Bowers is the only good part of their O. Come on Falcons, we should win this, just don’t shit the fucking bed

TE Bowers and Mayer now that he has resolved his personal issues. Nice 1-2 punch at TE.

Plus WR Meyers and the youngster WR Tre Tucker has some potential. Has had some nice moments this season.

Not all bad. Just need a QB, RB and to tweak the OL a little.

To that cb tho. 1 extra int=million dollars on a contract. World we live in.

Amen to that, but in the overall scheme of the game it's dumb. Kind of the opposite of not scoring when you're up by a score and you go down at the 2 to run out the clock. I get it, but it is still not really the right play.

Outside of QBs, no players contract is really based on team success. It's individual stats.

And to add to that, even QB isn't really required to win for money. Cousins has made a career out of milking max contracts for stat based reasons.

You're correct, but take a look at the Vikings tonight. That D is built with smart players that give excellent effort. While the stats are neat when negotiating a contract, many of the stats are pretty empty from my perspective, but you're still correct, GMs love stats and the big splash signings. Take a look at the Bears, what was the point of trading for Sweat and Byard last year? They give up the ability to get younger guys and instead get older guys that have stats. That doesn't make much sense to me when building a team.
