Chewing tobacco banned at AT & T park

Like other San Francisco traditions, they prefer tobacco chewers to swallow rather than spit.

I can get away with swallowing dip every now and then, I used to in high school, but even as a 12 year veteran in chewing tobacco, I can't swallow chew without getting sick.

I finally started making sure my spit bottle wasn't the same kind of bottle I was drinking from.

If the Giants had done it, OK. It is their prerogative.

But since San Fran did it instead, No Fucking Way! Let people live the way they want. It is a nasty as hell habit, but there is no second hand smoke, so let people do what they want to their own bodies, even if they are stupid by doing it.

Two thumbs up!! San Francisco is run by a bunch of big govt nannies. This is the same city that banned McDonald's Happy Meal toys because in their eyes parents are too stupid to decide what to buy for their kids. Next they'll ban sodas and fast food, and mandate vegetarian menus in all restaurants. The City will decide what is good for everyone.

I am not a fan of tobacco products, but this is a big overreach. As long as someone isn't spitting it all over the place, I could care less if you chew. Why not ban shitty high calorie fat laden food instead. That's a far biiger health risk to society than chewing tobacco. Be a leader in the fight against obesity instead of doing this PR stunt.

Its this kind of stupidity that comes out of San Francisco that makes it look like a joke
