I don't see it. I see a guy with every possible trait you could want in a QB, that played his first season on a lousy team, with arguably the worst WR corps in the NFL.
The Bears have an opportunity to draft a very good QB this year but then management would be admitting they screwed up by drafting Trubisky last year so I guess you're stuck with him.

Really? Who do you think will be there at 8?

So what exactly do you see in Trubisky that you don't like? Other than him being a Bear.

Because even though Dak is average Trubisky is slightly below average.

Trubisky has barely played...

And when he did. Half of the time Tanner Gentry and Tre McBride were his starting WR's. lol

He has extremely comparable numbers to Wentz in his first season. He graded out with a better rookie season than Watson on PFF.

It's entirely inconclusive. He has all of the ability in the world. Could 100% never put it together and bust. Could 100% put that ability together and be a smashing success of a fit in Nagy's system.

To make an emphatic statement one way or another at this point can only be based on some kind of bias.

Please stop making excuses for Trubs. He had a bad year, he looked overwhelmed and confused. I think his understanding of the QB position got better but the results didn't show. But don't make excuses.

Omg. Lots of QBs that failed had comparable numbers to Wentz his rookie year. Lots of QBs that succeeded had worse/better years than Wentz his rookie year. In other words, this means nothing. Sort of like your all your points.

It's entirely inconclusive. He has all of the ability in the world. Could 100% never put it together and bust. Could 100% put that ability together and be a smashing success of a fit in Nagy's system.

So in other words, water is wet. Fantastic insight alert (rolls eyes).

You could've saved some bandwidth, and just typed, "I'm cunty douchebag."

The Jets will take a QB but I doubt Denver does.

Why is that? Cuz of the mighty Bork Arsewiper? Seriously tho, is their rumors in place that I don't know about? They can't feel confident/happy about Osweiler as their starter going forward.

Denver is happy to have Case Keenum as their starting QB... The guy was fantastic last season.

What I've heard is they still are willing to give Paxton Lynch a chance; and to learn behind Keenum.
Still wouldn't surprise me if they draft a QB.
Bears picks are limited (6 only, I think), so there's other needs besides QB.

Except he didn't. He had his struggles, but his rookie year was rather clearly a positive. He improved and showed a lot of promising signs.

Yes... which is why I said "it's entirely inconclusive".

Which you then also had a problem with...

We agree... but I suppose trolls are going to troll. So, troll on, my boy.

Denver has a bargain in Keenum.

Denver is taking a QB unless Mayfield and Rosen are both gone. Period.

Denver has a bargain in Keenum.
They do.
But Keenum's career numbers to me suggest that he fell into the perfect situation in Minny.
According to Football Outsiders, the Vikes' pass protection ranked 6th.
Broncos ranked 29.
I love to see the journeymen do well.
But he may be running for his life in Denver.
