If San Diego is looking at the standings, you can expect a fight from them. A win the next 2 weeks against the Bengals and Steelers puts them right back into the thick of the WC race.

2 wins for SD and a Bengals loss to Dallas and Pittsburgh's imminent loss to Baltimore next week puts them in the driver's seat for the final WC.

Hey Kramer sorry for my harsh and dickhead comment earlier in the thread. LOL. I was drunk and pissed my Kent Flashes couldn't pull out the MAC Championship game. In any event, I have no idea how this game plays out, but I think the loss of Sanu hurts. Spikes and Co. get revenge from the last time they played and win 24-17. Hope I'm wrong.

The reason I think the Bengals win?

Rivers is the most or second most QB sacked in the league I believe. Their backup LT also got hurt and will not be playing, (at least I think it was their backup) because I can't remember if they said the Chargers will be protecting Rivers blind side this week with a LT labeled 3rd or 4th on their depth chart at the position. The Chargers already really suck at Oline and with the injuries there, they will be even weaker.

Our strength on this team is our DL, and they are goign to pin their ears back and go after Rivers with little fear of him scrambling all over the play like a mobile QB would. Gates is the big issue. We take Gates out of the game play with Burfict underneath and Crocker over the top, we have a very good chance of shutting their offense down if Maualuga, Lawson and the DL can maintain a strong run defense.

Now on offense, we are goign to struggle running the ball a bit, but we should be able to pass the ball effectively if Dalton is given a little bit of time to find his targets, even without Sanu.

We still struggle on the WC, and the Chargers have a very good run defense, but I think the reasons above help us to win the game by a FG or less at the end of the day.

Rey is correct. San Diego could make a serious run at the wild card if they could beat the Bengals at home and then catch a Steelers team without a healthy Big Ben. It could be a hell of a run -- Then again, they have Norv Turner as a coach, so they might win the two hard games and then blow an easy game the week after. You just never know.

I'm not confident about tomorrow. As I stated earlier -- We're due some difficulties with turnovers and redone execution and I'm afraid they come tomorrow.

All we have to do is get to 4th and 29 and go for it every time. They already proved thu couldn't stop that.

I forgot they had Spikes. I take back everything I said. They're almost a shoe in to miss the playoffs and they must know it too.
