The way I see it, if it unintentional, wouldn't you turn around immediately to see what that loud boom was? Also, you had to have known that stanchion was right there, and doing what he did.... Watching the replay over and over -- which you can also do here -- it’s clear that the puck had just left Pacioretty by the middle of the ice by the boards, for maybe a half a second or so, when Chara came over and decided to check him
