That is a ton of $$$ for a closer. Wow! However, the Yanks scored some good prospects from the Cubs and yet get there closer back.
Whether this deal is successful or not is contingent on whether his velocity drops in year 2 or 3, or drops in year 4 or 5.
I don't see him ever becoming a true pitcher and when he doesn't have 102, he doesn't have much.
Traded for prospects and back to the Bronx, even if it becomes an overpay. Solid closer but they needed to address SP

If it does drop by year 3 then we can hope he uses his opt out clause and go elsewhere.
