Champ's Back

Well looks like we are without Webster for this week as he heals from his thumb surgery so Champ is back at practice full for the first time this early in the week in a long time. Good timing on his part. Hopefully he can actually suit up for a full game.

Probably too much to expect, but I would love to see Champ play at a high level again. He was so good for so long on some very bad defenses. It would be awesome for him to play a big role in what is hopefully a strong finish this year.

I agree TD, it's sad to watch Champ struggle. Through some lean times he has been a great Bronco and the face of the organization. If there's a Bronco I wish would get (and deserves) a ring, it's 24.

I'm glad he's back, regardless of if he's "lost a step" or not. We need somebody back there to quarterback that secondary, and nobody has really stepped up the past month. Getting Champ back can only help at this point.

I'm pretty sure that Rahim Moore was the guy that was getting our secondary into the right spots and with him gone obviously we have seen a huge downfall even more than earlier in the year on some things. Guys just look completely lost in our secondary right now. We have some playmakers in the group they just need to pull their heads out and think.

I love hearing this. If he is good ot go, these 2 games should give him more than enough time to get back up to game speed, with is experience I don't think it's much of a mental thing, just a physical one.

Two games is definitely plenty for Champ to get his feet back under him. Plus hopefully having that extra bye week (fingers crossed) will give him the rest to be ready for the playoff run.

Very glad to see him back. Some much needed leadership on the defensive side of the ball.
