What a crazy finish. I'm guessing the Big 12 gets left out.

1. Bama
2. Oregon
3. FSU
4. Ohio St

:agree:

Man I have to give up for my Buckeyes 3rd string Qb, coming in the game and controlling it with everything on the line. How many teams lose two starting caliber qbs and was still in the hunt for the title?

I agree man. To destroy Wisconsin like that holy crap! And I won't be surprised if they put them 3rd over Fsu even though I don't think that would be fair.

Baylor won to though and is the big 12 champion. They also beat TCU head to head so I don't see how TCU can be ahead of them.

Yeah right, if you are the powers that be, OSU over TCU is a no brainer

Ohio State
Wins vs. bowl-eligible teams: 9, five of those coming on the road
Wins vs. currently-ranked teams: 2 (at No. 8 Michigan State, No. 13 Wisconsin)
Loss: to 6-6 Virginia Tech at home

TCU
Wins vs. bowl-eligible teams: 6, two of those coming on the road
Wins vs. currently-ranked teams: 2 (No. 9 Kansas State, No. 20 Oklahoma)
Loss: to No. 6 Baylor on the road

I dont really know, but it would be very hard to drop TCU after they won 55-3 albeit over a very poor Iowa State team. TCU's loss by three points on the road is far more impressive than Ohio State and Baylors losses.

But I don't really care, they are all deserving. This playoff is better than what we had, but everyone knew that instead of the supposedly 3rd best team being left out in the old format, we knew that the next best team out of the top 4 this year will have the same gripe!

I think they got it right but I hope they go to a 6 team playoff. Baylor and TCU are two good teams that got left out.

Good guess. Now it's anyone's guess who will win.

Bama and Oregon both looked ok in the 1st half of their games. AZ looked awful, basically just laying down the entire PAC 12 championship and Mizzou made a small run at BAMA for a bit, then BAMA took over.. But this BAMA O-line is not as dominant as it's been in the past years. FSU looked pretty good and once again took over defensively in the 2nd half versus Ga Tech. When the game is on the line, I will take my Noles all day - they seem to step up in big moments and in big games.

I like FSU's chances. I'm not a big believer in PAC 12 defenses either, but their will be some speed on the field in Pasadena, CA on new years day.

I don't know what to say about Ohio St, they put 8 in the box and made Wiscy's QB do something and he didn't. That was an inspired effort by the Buckeyes after losing a O-lineman to suicide.

Now we wait, while these teams take 3-4 weeks off. Anything can happen during this time and you never know who will show up and who will be rusty.

Oregon/FSU is a tough call. As you mentioned, PAC12 defenses don't compare to most top 20 teams. That speed will be tough for FSU to deal with though. I do think FSU continues to find a way....until they lose to Bama for the championship.

I think FSU is on their last leg every week. Oregon's speed is concerning, but they haven't been hit by a real defense yet. Pressure on Marriota has already confirmed that Oregon can lose and they did to an awful AZ team in Oregon, so to think that FSU can beat them at a neutral site, isn't far fetched.

Bama can hit and they can score, but their Oline isn't all that either. Ohio St is the wildcard playing inspired football, but now have 3-4 weeks off.
