It would appear that a quarterback (any quarterback) cannot win a Heisman without one (for sure) and most likely two NFL quality receivers. And a line that gives him 3.5 or more seconds to throw.

So much of the Heisman depends on the team. If Young or Bennett played for Kansas, Oregon State, Indiana, Missouri, Tennessee, and laundry list of others, we would not know their names.

Underwent surgery yesterday. Been in a hydrocodon haze and only awake a few minutes every couple of hours.

It sucked but congrats to GA.

I was good with the loss. I suspected Bama would lose, always holding out hope they wouldnt, but knew it was a long shot to Beat that team twice in a season. To me, we played with house money once we got past Georgia the first time. I was not expecting Bama to beat them then, and everything after that was all gravy. The playoffs got their true title winner they were seeking. Georgia was the best team all year, and only slipped once to Bama in that title game.

I had Hydrocodone in the medicine cabinet, maybe i will try that next year if we lose a game.

Yeah, I never assume the outcome of a game. And wasn't particularly upset about this, sort of figured their day would come.

Like most neutral fans I was rooting hard for Georgia to finally break through. But I will always have mad respect for Alabama and they were really taking it to Georgia in the first half. When they took the lead late this was a movie I had seen before. But Georgia overcame all those penalties and got 'er done, very happy for them.
