Hopefully our coaches see something in the next 10 days to either justify their switch, or to mothball it and let Weeden go back out there. Can't do anything but trust the coaches.

I don't Eli is going to have a huge game. He is going to be under duress and I hope the secondary makes plays. Gregory,Hardy,Crawford and Lawrence on the field at the same time is going to create, lots of pressure and hopefully a few pick sixes

Beckem & Reuban have tweaked hammys from Sunday. I don't expect them to get better going to Philly this Monday night.

A short week of rest for the Gmen while the boys come off the buy

I just had to post what this weeks power rankings had to say.


Will Matt Cassel make a difference? He's 9-17 as a starter with a 38.2 Total QBR since the start of the 2011 season.


I have not looked yet but I just hope Matt was on some horrendous teams to help explain these stats.

I remember him almost beating us with the Chiefs at KC.

That was in 09 I think though. Look watching these backup Qbs that win, they get some luck with turnovers or bounces. Brandon WEeden looked really below average and I'm not trying to make excuses for him but he didn't get Dez either. It would just be nice over these next 4 weeks if we actually got a little luck.

With that being said, as bad as the Giants were last night, I don't think we get that same version this week. Tom Coughlin will clean the stupid penalties up this week. I'm hoping our CBs can match up with their WRs. Once the Eagles started crowding them it changed the whole game. I do think they are the best team in the division right now. A win there would be really big.
