No.
I have respect for the position. The Eagles have an All Pro Center and he is very special because he is one of the few athletic Centers who can get down field and block.
Does that mean me or any GM would take Jason Kelce over other all pros at different positions? Absolutely fucking not. Do you think I’d rather have an all pro Center like Kelce over more important positions like Khalil Mack, Pat Mahomes, Tyron Smith, Julio Jones, Aaron Donald, Quenton Nelson (Guard), Saquon Barkley, Marshon Lattimore?

Yeah, I’d say that has importance. No doubt. But over all that’s a pretty fucking easy skill. It doesn’t take a 1 in a million type person to handle that though. Do Centers week after week go up against 6’5 270 pound guys who run 4.6 forties? No?

How about the C snapping the ball getting hit in the head by the two inside linemen who average a bit bigger than 270 pound edge rushers? Na, it's an easy position in your eyes.

Dude Kelce is known for being a rare example with athleticism.
This dumb coach has 5 or so state championship and then was a recruiter and position coach for a D1 University

And most reasonable people pretty much thought it was close to what Wentz says: There were some elements of truth in the story, but Santoloquito basically turned those reasonable 'allegations' into a hit-piece.

Actually, to most who have followed the Eagles over the past season, read what most reputable journalists wrote, to them most of it is not a surprise, and what Wentz is saying lines up neatly with that.

His response raised my opinion of him. Accountability is an important character trait for a QB or anyone and it's tough to admit to in such a public forum. Maybe some of the accusations sunk in a little and make him better able to rally the team around himself going forward.

Like I said earlier, still a very young guy put into a big spotlight. Especially after what Foles did last year and the statue and all the pressure. A bit of ego involved for sure but all these guys have that. I liked what he said in that piece about being selfish. It shows he is growing up some more.
