Carson Wentz:Locker Room Problem???

Playing favorites doesn't quite mean on the field of play but what happens behind closed doors and at practice. Foles and Wentz targets in games are fairly close so I'm thinking a lot of the smoke build up came over time inside the locker room and now some are spilling over since the season is over.

It's quite uncanny the similarities between the Seahawks and the Eagles after winning the SB.

Swap a couple players around, add the venturing into cap issues, where there was smoke there was fire in Seattle even though the loyalists kept trying to tell us it was bs, QB controversy (not the same type of controversy but a controversy dealing with the QB none the less), rah rah HC...

The list goes on and on.

Next on the docket, Philly brace yourself for missing the playoffs. I think Philly is going to fall a lot harder than the Hawks did.

Probably correct on fringe players but without truly knowing people will speculate on which WRs/TEs/RBs are talking. We'll never know till these guys move on or are retired.

My bet is it's true, but this is a fringe minority within the lockerroom, and are probably in the grand scheme of things, nobodies; the real reason they are anonymous isn't Wentz, it's that their ass would get run out for being replacement level jags talking shit on teammates.

It does mirror each other except a few Seattle players were vocal after the season ended where these guys have not come out publicly aiming their dismay towards Wentz, yet. LOB tied up a ton of money so what saved the Hawks was good drafting and it showed this year on D. Not perfect but a good start where most people thought the D would take multiple steps back before moving forward. Howie needs to have that type of draft this year and next with Wentz's contact around the corner and that will determine how fast Philly will rise or fall. Big off season for them.

QB and center not on the same page would be doom.
It wouldn't be a bad idea to trade Ertz next off season. He could net you some really good draft picks to help fill up the holes. Dallas Goddard could be a good player in Doug's system.

It takes time to surface. As I had said continually winning cures a lot. Once Seattle started to take a step back (miss the playoffs) is when we really started hearing about all the locker room issues.

You're right if Philly doesn't hit the draft they're doomed IMO. They're already in cap hell and are going to have to let a handful of quality players walk without the ability to replace them unless they draft them. Wentz will be a FA after next season. Philly needs to lock him up this year before he hits the FA market otherwise Philly stands the chance of losing both Foles and Wentz in two years. Especially if all these diva/self centered stories continue to fuel the fire in the Philly locker room with regard to Wentz.

They don't own the rights to Foles this year. Foles would have to sign his extension and then be traded. That likely is not happening. It would take too much collusion to make it happen. Otherwise Foles and his agent take the chance of getting screwed. Besides Foles has already said he wants to be a starter.

Philly fans hate this but if they were smart Philly would trade Wentz and get whatever they can for him. Sign Foles to a long term deal. The book is still uncertain on whether or not Wentz will ever return to his 2017 form? He could just as easily become a one hit wonder brittle bitch. With Foles you know what you're getting.

Not saying there is no truth to what he’s saying but he 100% is not a respected Philly writer. His article was in one of those free weekly deals and not a regular daily newspaper. I went to Philly NFL board cause I haven’t lived in Philly for a bit and there is a loooooong thread about this and NO ONE ever heard of this guy.

also only 3 players came to his Defense. 1 being ertz, who liek the article says is his "favorite" who is peppered with targets.........and johnson, whose his boy tackle.............kudos to fletcher cox for stepping up as a leader on that team........but color me unimpressed at the support.
