They let him get away with so much shit 1:20 and 2:54 are just a few of his illegal moves. One thing Melo always does as well is lower his shoulder into you which is an offensive foul but a lot of the times its called a defensive foul. Just saying Melo gets more calls than anyone. Even more than Lebron or Kobe. He also uses his off hand a lot to create separation and its obvious.

I re watched this game. And it made me mad all the Knicks fans complaining about Harden flopping. When he really only flopped once and he drew the foul.

Lebron can defend, rebound, and force his way into the paint. Stop hating on Lebron hes going to be the greatest ever sorry. His impact on both ends is not human.

I watched both examples you said to look at. The first one appears he makes contact for separation but the 2nd one looks like he attempts to.... but doesn't make contact.

I didn't see any "lowering of the shoulder" in those examples though. If a player lowers his shoulder/driving and the opposing player is not set when contact is made, they'll call that on the defense almost every time.

I don't get my hopes up anymore to see consistent officiating from game to game.

The majority of officiating this season so far has been atrocious and abysmal....and it's only mid november...smh.

Personally, all I saw was Melo dominating.

1:20 he swings his elbow around and at 2:54 he hooks Parson which has been called for many years now. He always uses his off hand for separation and does cheap hooks to get by his defender.

Carmelo is the most overrated player in the NBA he just doesn't have what it takes to bring his team a championship.

The on at 2:54 he clearly hooked Parsons to get a step on him. He does this frequently.

Agree 100%. I didn't see Melo do anything wrong at all. I don't understand how he doesn't get anywhere near as many calls as the other NBA superstars. Durant shoots mostly jumpers and he gets all kind of phantom calls whereas Melo at least post up and put the ball on the floor.
And as far as lowering their shoulder and charging, no one does that better than Lebron James and they have the balls to call the foul on the guy guarding him.

Lmao he lowers his shoulder, he uses his off hand to push off a lot like the play at 2:54 you cant hook a player that is always called on everyone even Harden has been called for it a number of times except for Melo, and on his little post move where he spins to do a scoop shot or a little floater he always wacks his elbow around which again is a foul and is sort of his elbow version of a hook gaining inside position by using his elbow.

Melo is also out of control a lot of the time how many times have we seen him try and truck a defender and just blow and throw some wild shit off the back board while he puts his head down and doesnt get back. Thats not a foul, He plays for the Knicks bro trust me its for the NBA and the media wants Melo to get calls. He still gets to the line a lot him giving contact to another player isnt a foul especially when most of the time its offensive. He needs to learn how take contact and absorb it because people do play hard defense on him but hes not quick enough to really catch his man out of position so he uses the illegal arm hooks, elbows, and lowering his shoulder which is an automatic charge.

8 Most Common Illegal Moves of Today's NBA Superstars | Bleacher Report Just like I showed you in that small clip. But if your a homer I understand........................ Its true though and its the cheapest illegal move in the game.
