San Francisco 49ers clinch NFC West title by beating Arizona Cardinals - San Jose Mercury News

"It feels good, but I'm just focused on the playoffs, with how bad I did last year," Crabtree said. "I feel I get another chance. I'm ready to win."

---------

"That was our mission and the thing we wanted to accomplish," said Jim Harbaugh, who became only the third coach in NFL history to win two straight division titles after inheriting a losing team.

--------------

"It's starting to feel better. I'll be ready to roll," Smith said while watching the Vikings-Packers game.

I like that quote by Crabtree, he didn't have a very good playoffs last year... so it's nice that he is looking to make up for it this year.

True...it's the first time I can remember him admitting to having a bad performance and needing to improve.

What bad performance? ;) (I'm sure you've seen or heard the "what drops?" response to a question two years ago.)

I was very lukewarm on the Crabtree pick and his early performance. But I'm a big boy and willing to change my stance. He's done very well this year. I hope he keeps it up. He's won me over.

Sounds as if our Mikey Crabtree is growing up - We need you MC as it appears we are limping into the playoffs once again at the WR position (and TE for that matter)

Also, I didn't follow him a ton today, but Moss seemed to have a little more burst today . Was I imagining that?

If that is because of Randy Moss too, what a good signing that was even though he did just a step up from nothing on the field.

Arizona Cardinals vs. San Francisco 49ers - Recap - December 30, 2012 - ESPN

NEXT LEVEL: Frank Gore set the 49ers career franchise rushing touchdown mark with a 2-yard score in the fourth quarter. All eight of Gore's rushing touchdowns this season have come with at least eight defenders in the box.

NEXT LEVEL: Colin Kaepernick was 3-of-4 targeting Michael Crabtree at least 15 yards downfield, and their 49-yard touchdown connection in the second quarter put Crabtree over the 1,000 receiving yard mark this season, making him the first 49ers receiver to reach that plateau since Terrell Owens in 2003. Crabtree was only targeted five times on such throws by Alex Smith this season, compared with 15 times with Kaepernick at quarterback.

All of those comparisons will be easy to understand since both QB's threw the same # of passes (218)

I think Randy helped our WR's and our QB's - Some assets don't show up on the stat-sheet. But now, we need him to show up on the stat sheet - he needs to get aggressive with his jump-balls

Randy's been a model citizen. I was very skeptical but again he proved me wrong. Something tells me he'll step up a bit more in the playoffs. Not old Randy but a little more production. Wiley old veteran comes to mind.
