Yeah. He would have to be injury red shirted, but it would have to get approval by the NCAA, and proven he is not healthy enough, etc. Big giant pain in the ass. It was just a day dream anyways.

He'll be healthy. The guy is supposed to be ready to participate sometime in the spring. The NCAA isn't going to give him a redshirt year because the coaches say he 'might' not be ready.

I know I know. Like I said, it was a day dream more than anything. He could always aggravate it, but I am hoping he doesn't hurt himself more.

Barrett is still the best QB for OSU going forward. Just hard to ignore what Cardale did in those last 3 games.

Well.....most of that Buckeyes team was freshman and sophomores, and they already are bringing in another top recruited QB, and just signed the Nations Top RB at half time during the NC game.

So not much to screw up, other than making everyone upset over play time because everyone on the team is an All-American. hahahaha

I conceded that I could be wrong about him and that if I were and if we failed this year we'd have our chance to get him.

That's a lot of ifs.... None of which have come true thus far.

He should be available in the 5th to 7th rounds now. He screwed himself by not going pro last year, his stock was as high as ever. He could have been drafted within the first 3 rounds last year, he may be lucky to even get drafted this upcoming year.
