I would struggle giving either one much respect in a face to face meeting, but I agree...Bell's was more about a contract...he and his agent just over shot their market. Both Bell and the OL guys should've kept whatever he told them in house.

Agreed. AB carried himself as if he was bending over the entire franchise to get what he wanted, and it worked. But he shouldn't fool himself. The Steelers could have sat on him and let him rot on their NFI list. Or better yet, if he had shown up to camp with the cryo feet then they could have put him on IR and let him waste a year of his prime. I mean, they had to pay the man around $20m whether he played with them or not... That said, Colbert did do the right thing. Get rid of the distraction and take whatever you can get. But AB turned into an even bigger pompous ass after he got what he wanted, claiming he muscled his way out and what he had done was unprecedented.

Good for you AB. I can't wait to see the HOF committee bend his ass over when he becomes eligible. Nobody will like him and he'll have to wait a looooong time to get in.
