Baah!! Missed my first Caps' game this year. Stupid being employed!
Enjoyed the game thread though. Nice to have CR back in the fold and Tox to make a cameo.
Gotta say - Neuvy is looking really good and Carlson is looking like he's in mid-season form in his 3rd year. I'd say this guy is going to be a beast, but I'm not sure he isn't ALREADY a beast. Lovin' what I'm seeing from the Caps so far. The 7-2 wins are nice, but the 2-1 and 3-2 ones bode much better for the playoffs.
Btw, anyone go to a game yet? The new Unleash the Fury video has a pretty funny wrinkle to it...

I was pleased with the effort the Islanders gave. Very disappointed with the end result. It was a VERY stupid penalty by Comeau in the offensive zone. Moulson & Grabner blew excellent opportunities to score. The powerplay really missed the Wiz. Congrats to Niederreiter on his first NHL goal. Unfortunately it wasn't enough.
