Gotta say, without Poti nearly the whole season and without Green for nearly a month, the Caps D pairings have been very strong. As long as we don't have to play Sloan, I think we're fine with these pairings in the playoffs. I'd love to get Green back to have a puck mover/stay-at-home combo on each line. But we are likely going to finish with the #1 defense in the East and it's still possible we could end up giving up the fewest goals in the NHL.

I only wish I could remember which Flyer fan told me back in November we had made no improvements on D and who I told to wait and see when Carlson/Alzner get better.

well considering this is a thread for both teams to discuss, i don't think that this post is all that appropriate. i have no idea what you are talking about anymore than you would if i said the flyers lines should be
