Idk. I don't have strong feelings one way or the other. It's early in the season and I like that they are doing more in terms of movement and different positioning. May as well experiment some in the fall. I doubt he'll be there on the regular.

I mean if you don't like the idea of OV on the point, then Semin is much worse. More likely to turn it over, he's much more dangerous closer to the net, and he's got a worse slapper. Sure, he's not going to be there regularly but there has to be someone better to fill in.

pretty much. Also, either a dive or a hook/trip, not both.

I don't like the way the refs are calling this game tonight. Lots of ticky tack calls and the dive call. They are doing a nice job keeping the Oilers in a game we've dominated.

Hamrlik had a look like 'What?!? Those are the tiny penalties you usually let savvy defensemen like me get away with!'

But yeah, when you think about the possession of that period, it was all us. So if they are calling it tight, we should have walked away with more PPs.

All in all - spent most of the last 5 minutes on the PK and the Oil got 5 shots. Good D.
