I doubt you'll find too many who are not happy to have Frederick. But where he was taken he was a reach. There are some who still think we should have taken Floyd. I'm not one of them the more I read about Floyd the less I wanted him.

As of NOW I am fine with the draft. If we would have taken Floyd we would not have Williams or JJ, more than likely Williams. I think Escobar will be a hell of a player when it is all said and done, have to get him the chance to make plays though. So odds are you draft Floyd in first you take Frederick in second, then you get Wilcox in third. Which means as of now, would you trade Escobar and Williams for Floyd? If so then you should love the draft if not then you should think of the Frederick pick as a reach. I like the draft and won't complain as of NOW; but I reserve my feelings on drafts until about 3-4 years later due to the time it takes for a player to really show what they are, because anyone can have one good season in the NFL does not mean they are a good player.

Escobar is THE pick I didn't like. As soon as it was made I reserved the right to bitch about it until the end of time. I hope he proves me wrong.

It does take 3-4 years to know for sure. Look at the RG3 trade. At the time, I loved it for the Rams, considered it HWalker trade 2.0. Still do. However, one year ago today, Redskins fans were dancing in the streets, because they thought RG3 was a surefire be a HOF QB. And he still may be, but after reconstructive knee surgery multiple times, it doesn't seem likely

I like Escobar as a player, but probably was not the best pick for us. Reason is as long as Witten is here Escobar nor any other TE will get the time they deserve to shine or play. I think the kid has major talent, and you will see it soon; but I just pray they find some way to put him on the field.

I'm not going to sit here and say RG3 is a bust just like I won't say he is great. The 3rd year for a QB is always the most important. Look at Cam Newton, great rookie year, horrible sophomore year, amazing junior season, we will see how he plays as a senior, but I think this year for RG3 is huge, because if he doesn't get his level of play up this year, people will be calling for him to be traded and the pressure will be to much to handle for him, he won't succeed there in DC if he doesn't have a better year, it will be mental at that point. This is probably the main reason why we as a team struggle so much at the end of the year, it is mental now, in our minds and for how much talent we have on this team we should not be 8-8, but mentally in our minds that is where and what we are.

Can't say I liked the Escobar pick. But only because he's not going to get many balls his way. It's not based on where he should have been taken.

Loved the trade down because it got us Williams

Didn't like the Wilcox pick because he was a project. Thought he was taken too high for a guy that had only played the position 1 year.

The pick I absolutely HATED was the Webb pick.

I can agree with you on the Webb pick, still hate it, don't know what they saw in him.

the Escobar pick was jerry being jerry with visions of a new England two tight set. He saw mismatch problems and screwed the pooch again with his stinking thinking here. Escobar has NFL skills, no question but it's a process as garrett loves to say with this guy. NOT what this team should be thinking and it's comical they did last year in round two.

That pick wouldn't have been made with a Real HC in the room

Escobar has talent. I have been pretty hard on him. I just think you need to have an above average OL to make the 2 TE system work. Romo has not shown the desire to get the ball out and seems to always be looking for the big play instead of executing a game plan. There seems to be no game plan for most of the games

Especially when the running game is working.

Well they were talking about 3 teams picking him all at the beginning of the 2nd round.

I read that here 100 times...never saw any proof of it anywhere else though. Personally I thought it was total Bull Shit all along. Probably put out by Jerry to deflect a little. The fact is it worked out great for us taking him. But, you can't use the fact that it worked out as reason to say it wasn't a reach. My point all along wasn't that I didn't like Frederick. It was that if we took someone else in the first and Frederick in the second it would have been amazing for us. Also of course, Frederick being good doesn't make our stupid trade down decision any less ridiculous. The collective Cowboy ass still must hurt from that trade...Thank goodness we have Frederick though, no matter when or how we got him...

Escobar...16 games...9 catches...Good players that get as many snaps as he did find a way to make more of an impact than that no matter what hand they are dealt.

I did not really mind the Frederick pick. Watching Costa was very painful.

The problem with Jerrah is he has drafted too many projects over the year. s and the depth has suffered because of this. Heath would have a hard time making most rosters and we started him. Wilcox is a project. Did not like the pick. Roster spots are too valuable to keep drafting projects

Did you get a center for a decade?
Was it a good pick?

gotta agree but then again, I was never sure Fred woulda been there when we picked in round 2. Seems most here are sure of that. Like the safety position in Dallas now....time to address this position with quality after years of below average play. Center in 2013 and safety in 2014
