Bo Horvat is making the Cory Schneider trade look pretty good from a Canucks perspective.

It's been a long time since any team got any sort of incredible return for a goalie. Halak was traded for Eller, whom Horvat is already better than. The Miller trade was different circumstances, but Buffalo got a pretty decent package for him (moreso if STL are eliminated in round 1).

But I still feel like despite Horvat's progression Vancouver could've/should've gotten more for Schneider.

Just landed in WPG. NHL rescinds instigator penalty for VAN's Alex Burrows, so he's good to go for G4. All quiet on supp discipline front.

And Ferland? Here’s a kid who only gets into the lineup because of an injury to Lance Bouma, and now his head coach is sending him out to play against the Sedin line.

it wasnt an instigator ... that was the obvious move ... as it was said many times last night

when was the last time you saw someone throw a questionable hit and then be an instigator of a fight right after the hit ... usually that guy is the one who faces the music right away ... and Russell engaged him by grabbing him
