was the supposed instigator related to the score? no ... it wasnt a case where it was 3 - 0 so Burr jumped a guy

I heard on the radio earlier today that the last time an instigator penalty was upheld in the playoffs was 2012 (Pens/Flyers series when James Kneel was running around creating havoc). Welcome to the NHL playoffs, where not only the players change on the fly, the rules do as well.

All this is encouraging is for the teams not to continue doing this at the end of the games.

Might as well have a line brawl off the opening face off then as no warnings have been given out for that juncture of the game yet. Of course there are always warm ups too.
